Over the past 10+ years, we’ve run over 350 events for over 13,000 people, with folks from all walks of life thanks to our core value of ‘diversity by default’. We’ve never charged for a meetup and we never will.

What’s the story & where are we going?
Rebel Meetups started in 2013 as a small casual event for entrepreneurs to connect to share ideas, stories and challenges they were having. As word spread, these quickly grew both nationally and then globally with hosts bringing together likeminded Rebels in their own cities around the world.
While our format and audience has seen subtle changes over time, our mission has never wavered: To create safe, engaging spaces with zero barriers to entry for anyone wanting to engage in entrepreneurship, regardless of who they are or their circumstances.
We're proud that today, we're connecting over 5,000 rebels for free every year with an audience that boasts an industry-leading level of diversity across the board, now recognised as a reputable community for aspiring leaders & entrepreneurs everywhere.

What is a 'Rebel'? Am I one?
To us, Rebels are misfits, change-makers, action-takers, people who challenge the status quo. Those who feel they’re persuing things that make them a little different to others, will feel right at home in our community. Our rebels are founders, freelancers, creatives, creators, community-leaders among many other things. If this sounds like you, then you’re one of us.
Are your events really free? What's the catch?
No catch. At all. You can come to our events for free, forever. While we do have other products, services, and opportunities that we hope you might like, there is never an expectation for you to have to part with any money at a Rebel Meetup. Every meetup we run is free and always will be. Our mission to ensure zero-barriers is crucial to us and thanks to our sponsors we can and will keep it this way forever.
What can I expect from an event?
Aside from meeting a bunch of brilliant people working on awesome projects, you can at most events expect a fireside chat from your host and an esteemed guest, who will have built an interesting business or career and openly share their journey with the room.
These aren’t a requirement at each event and are more of an addition, usually a feature at our larger events consistently. But at the very least, we assure you that you’ll meet some lovely people who are as interested and curious as you!
Can I sponsor your events?
Absolutely! We welcome sponsors for all of our events. Ideally, we look for brands who want to support at a global partnership level (i.e. all of our events at once) as these provide you with the most value for your investment; however, we are also open to localised, regional and national partnerships.
